Membership Satisfaction survey

Greetings Y Members!

Let me take this opportunity to say thank you to all of you for your recent and extremely valuable feedback.  Back in late spring, you may recall receiving a lengthy member survey request from a company called SEER Analytics.  We are consistently looking for ways to improve your Y experience, and the results we received are extremely helpful in helping us focus in various areas.

First, a few statistics behind the data.  Nearly 900 survey responses were received, equaling just shy of a 20% response rate, which was very successful.   As we strive to continue to be a resource for Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, our member feedback helped shed some light on how we are doing in those areas. 

The data shared that 95% of members feel that the Y is a resource for nurturing the potential for children; 97% shared that the Y is a community resource for improving health and well-being; and 92% report that the Y provides an opportunity to give back and support their neighbors. These are all important and essential parts of what we do at the Y. Below is a brief summary of both positive and constructive feedback that we received.

We are sharing information on what we are doing to address those areas of opportunity.  We are committed to continuing to build on what you already love about the Y, and we are also focused on addressing those areas of opportunity.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear more feedback from you. What are the things that you like most about the Y?  What do you feel we can improve upon to make your experience at the Y even better?  As always, my door is always open.
