adaptive programming

recreational health and wellness opportunities for individuals with unique needs.

WHY ADAPTIVE RECREATION?

At the Fond du Lac Family YMCA we provide individuals of all abilities with opportunities to choose participation in recreation and leisure programs. Adaptive Recreation helps to nurture each person’s unique needs for a more effective learning environment. The experience will highlight a healthy lifestyle, which is an important part of every individual's life.  Staff are trained to support and encourage each participant in the Y's adaptive programs.
