The Fond du Lac Family YMCA and the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac are proud to publicly launch their joint capital campaign: Our Future Together, Reimagined. This bold initiative will fund a major expansion and renovation of the shared community center, originally established through a groundbreaking partnership in 2010.

United by a shared mission to empower youth and strengthen families, both organizations are responding to the growing and changing needs of the Fond du Lac community. Since opening nearly 15 years ago, the facility has provided thousands with collaborative programming, safe spaces, and life-changing support. Now, as our community grows, so too must the spaces that serve it.

Addressing Today's Needs with Tomorrow in Mind

The Our Future Together, Reimagined campaign focuses on:

Enhancing Safety While Preserving a Welcoming Environment

To create a more secure experience for everyone, planned renovations include updates to building entrances and investments in modern security measures. These improvements include additional security cameras, upgraded door access systems, and enhanced screening procedures—all designed to ensure safer spaces while continuing to foster a warm and welcoming environment for all who walk through our doors.

Redesigning the Wellness Center to Elevate the Member Experience

Plans include a redesigned and expanded Wellness Center to enhance the overall member and participant experience. The updated layout will improve traffic flow and create space for additional strength training and functional fitness equipment. A key feature of this expansion is the long-awaited addition of an indoor walking track—providing a safe, accessible option for year-round movement and wellness.

Expanding Youth Nutrition, Program Growth, and Community Wellness

This project includes the construction of a dedicated cafeteria to support the Boys & Girls Club’s growing food service program, helping to strengthen youth nutrition efforts. A redesigned multi-purpose room will offer a flexible, engaging environment to host a wide range of youth development programs. The updated space will also serve as a hub for Balanced Health Series seminars and other healthy living programs promoting physical, emotional, and social well-being. Additionally, the design includes new meeting areas to give staff space to collaborate, plan, and carry out the YMCA’s mission more effectively.
