Provide a Safer Environment
At both the Fond du Lac Family YMCA and the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac, safety remains a top priority. We are committed to creating secure spaces for our members, youth, staff, and guests—without losing the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that defines our organizations.
Planned renovations to our building entrances, along with strategic investments in security systems—including cameras, electronic door access, visitor screening, and emergency lockdown features—will help us better manage who enters our facilities. These enhancements also allow for more meaningful and immediate engagement with staff upon arrival.
Improve Member Experience
As community needs continue to evolve, so must our spaces. We’re responding by reimagining our existing footprint to better serve those who rely on us.
An expanded Wellness Center will support increased demand for functional fitness and strength training options, while also allowing for improved traffic flow and access. This expansion includes a much-anticipated walking track—an amenity frequently requested by members and visitors alike, offering a safe and accessible space for movement in all seasons.
In addition, the construction of a dedicated cafeteria will support the Boys & Girls Club’s expanding food program, ensuring more children receive the nutritious meals they need. These updates will also create room for new programs, better member engagement, and support our shared mission of nurturing healthy youth and communities.
