Fondy Junior Cheer              

Our Junior Cheer program offers a sound foundation for cheer while giving the participants an opportunity to showcase their skills on January 29th at the Fondy Girls Varsity Basketball Game. No tryouts or experience required.

Participants:  Fondy Junior Cheer is open to grades 5th – 8th.

Registration:  Online at fdlymca.org or in person at the Fond du Lac Family YMCA through Oct 26th.  

Practices & Location:  Two to three practices each week will be held at Fond du Lac High School from November 2018 to January 2019.

Program Fee:  $75 for Y members / $125 for community participants

Youth Cheer

SPRING YOUTH CHEERLEADING

This is a recreational program designed to teach cheerleading fundamentals. Participants will learn chants, jumps, basic stunts, and dance. They will get the opportunity to cheer at flag football games in the Spring Session. 

Beginners Cheer (Age 5-7): Designed for children new to cheerleading.

Intermediate/Advanced Cheer (Age 6-7): 6 and 7 year olds must have previously completed two YMCA cheer sessions.


FALL YOUTH CHEERLEADING

This is a recreational program designed to teach cheerleading fundamentals. Participants will learn chants, jumps, basic stunts, and dance. They will get the opportunity to cheer at flag football games in Session I and the youth basketball games in Session II.
