Chris Badtke is in the final year of his 6-year board term with the Fond du Lac Family YMCA. It’s hard to think of another volunteer who has had such a tremendous impact on our Y, as much as Chris has had in that time. Chris is the definition of a servant leader and has been a go-to person for our Y in so many ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chris leads our Property Committee and has found countless ways for our Y to be more efficient, through systems, controls, and other building analysis. Through his leadership, he has also led our Y through several challenges (and crisis), including major flood damage in 2019. Chris was there immediately to help lead the team through recovery, clean-up plans, and financial obstacles. Chris had the Y’s best interests in mind first, and served as a main point of contact for the Y staff, the cleaning company, and the contractors. Our Y would not have come through that crisis as well as we did without Chris’s leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chris has been instrumental in current projects and plans, and has been essential in helping the Y and Boys and Girls Club gain greater understandings of our collaboration, which will ensure long-term partnership stability moving forward. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Overall, we could not be more grateful for the time, talent, dedication, and overall leadership that Chris has brought our YMCA. Thank you for always putting the Y and its mission first. We appreciate all you have done for us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
