{"id":717,"date":"2021-02-19T12:30:09","date_gmt":"2021-02-19T18:30:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fdlymca.org\/blog\/?p=717"},"modified":"2021-02-19T12:48:26","modified_gmt":"2021-02-19T18:48:26","slug":"fond-du-lac-family-ymca-to-participate-in-ymca-day-of-giving-march-2nd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fdlymca.org\/blog\/2021\/02\/fond-du-lac-family-ymca-to-participate-in-ymca-day-of-giving-march-2nd\/","title":{"rendered":"Fond du Lac Family YMCA to participate in YMCA Day of Giving March 2nd"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Community Goal to raise $10,000<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is joining Y\u2019s around the nation for YMCA Day of Giving, a one-day fundraising event on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 with a community goal of raising $10,000.&nbsp; This will be the Fond du Lac Family YMCA\u2019s second time participating in the nation-wide fundraising event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>YMCA Day of Giving is a great way to rally behind the important work being done daily at our Y. &nbsp;<\/em><em>Every dollar you donate to the Fond du Lac Family YMCA stays local and&nbsp;helps remove financial barriers to access and inclusion in our programs, membership and activities,<\/em><em>\u201d <\/em>stated J.J. Raflik, CEO\/Executive Director, Fond du Lac Family YMCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This one-day philanthropic event will kick off the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdlymca.org\/annualcampaign.html\">Y\u2019s 2021 Annual Campaign.<\/a>&nbsp; With an annual campaign goal of $260,000, the donations from <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fdlymca.org\/ymcadayofgiving2021.html\">YMCA Day of Giving<\/a> <\/strong>will contribute to reaching that goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201c<\/em><em>Today, the Fond du Lac Family YMCA continues to provide a safe place to gather and participate in healthy activities. The Y provides much-needed programming and services FOR ALL, focusing on the healthy lifestyles of individuals, families and children in the Fond du Lac area, regardless of income, age or ability<\/em><em>,\u201d <\/em>stated Katie McCormick, Director of Mission Advancement, Fond du Lac Family YMCA.&nbsp; <em>\u201cThe generosity of others is at the core of the Y\u2019s existence as a nonprofit. It is only through the support of our donors that we are able to continue to support and give back to our community.
