5th Annual Kid's Xterra Triathlon

The 5^th Annual Kid’s Xterra is an innovative event geared towards youth from ages 5 to 15.  This family-oriented day is filled with activities and is modeled after an adult triathlon.  Held at beautiful Camp Anokijig in the rolling woodlands of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine Forest, participants compete in swimming, mountain biking and trail running through the rolling hills and woodlands surrounding Little Elkhart Lake. The private course comes complete with transition points, different stages and a professional timing bracelet for each participant, and it is designed so that everyone can finish the event. 

Children come away with a sense of accomplishment along with a medal for their successful participation.  Volunteers and family members are scattered throughout the course to help and encourage the participants throughout the event. 

Kid’s Xterra is followed by an afternoon brunch for the entire family to celebrate the participants’ achievements. Based on available resources, no child we will be turned away due to the inability to pay. Kids Xterra encourages young people to maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy the excitement of competition.
