Drop-In Care
As a service to our members and class participants, the Fond du Lac Family YMCA offers parents a non-regulated sitter service for up to two (2) hours per child each day.
Play Park offers children age 6 weeks to 8 years safe, quality care while their parents take time to exercise or attend a class on site.
Staff is trained and will provide opportunities for children to explore, create, climb, crawl, pretend, read, and rest in a safe environment.
Hours:
8:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Monday-Friday
3:45 to 7:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday
8-11 a.m. Saturdays
Cost:$2.00 per hour, per child
(Charges are rounded to the nearest 15-minute interval.)
Enrollment & Payments:
Before a child attends Play Park for the first time, parents must complete an emergency card and purchase a Play Park payment card. This card is valued at $20 with increments for punching. Payments will be deducted by the child care staff as hours are used.
Activities:
The space is divided into areas of interest. The room includes furnishings scaled for children and toys that are developmentally appropriate. Toys are cleaned and sanitized daily throughout the room.
Illness:
Parents are asked to keep sick children at home to prevent the spread of illness.
